Who am I?

I am a São Paulo fan. Before any title, before any barroom discussion, even before understanding what a tactical scheme was. Being a São Paulo fan, for me, was never just about winning—it was about belonging.

I grew up seeing São Paulo Futebol Clube as more than a team: a symbol of organization, of resistance, of greatness built through hard work. I lived through glorious phases, I lived through uncomfortable droughts, I lived through painful eliminations, and I celebrated victories that seemed improbable. Because supporting a team is not a rational act, but an emotional bond that crosses generations, neighborhoods, crises, and dreams.

I am a teacher, a historian by training, and perhaps that's why I can't look at football without context. Here, São Paulo will not be treated merely as 11 players on the field, but as a social, political, and cultural phenomenon. Football is also memory, identity, and the contestation of narratives inside and outside the four lines.

This blog is born from the desire to talk about São Paulo with passion, but without blindness; with criticism, but without losing the love. I don't write to please the board, influencers, or rivals. I write as a fan who questions, who remembers the past to understand the present, and who refuses to normalize mediocrity in a club that has already taught Brazil and the world how to be great.

Here you will find opinion, memories, irony when necessary, and respect for the club's history. You won't always agree with me, and that's okay. São Paulo has always been plural, and supporting a team also means disagreeing.

If you believe that São Paulo is bigger than any administration, bigger than any bad phase, and bigger than any rival, welcome.

This space is tricolor.

Critical.

Passionate. 🇾🇪
